The Jaguar Inn is only a 10 minute walk from the ruins, at the Tikal village. The Tikal village consists of 3 hotels (including us), 2 museums, visitors´ centre, post office, handicraft shops, local eating places, campground, the Park Administration HQ, and the main parking lot. Access to the Tikal ruins is by foot only, all cars must remain at the Tikal village, unless there are elderly or handicapped people requiring assistance. The entrance to the hotel is dominated by our traditional, thatched roofed restaurant building and its outdoor tables. Our bungalows are set off discreetly to one side, surrounded by lush tropical jungle. We count on 9 bungalows, restaurant, small camping area, money exchange, shuttle service.
